
The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting financial reporting and audits. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial controls.
Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
Perform bank, cash, and vendor reconciliations
Manage invoicing, billing, and follow-up for outstanding payments
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax
Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings on time
Assist in internal and external audits and provide required documentation
Monitor expenses and support budgeting and cost control
Maintain proper documentation and records for all financial transactions
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities as required
Support management with financial reports and analysis
