Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Accountant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Assistant Accountant to join our finance

team. The Assistant Accountant will support the accounting department by performing a variety

of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical

skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

 Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records,

including invoices, receipts, payments, and transactions.

 Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software and ensure the accuracy of all

entries.

 Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and manage

accounts payable and receivable.

 Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial

accounts.

 Assist in Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and

annual financial reports.

 Support Audits: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary

documentation and information.

 Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the accounting department

as needed.
