An Accounts Executive manages an organization's day-to-day financial transactions, bookkeeping, and reporting to support overall financial health.
Core Responsibilities
Bookkeeping: Maintain general ledgers, journals, and accurate daily financial records.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process vendor invoices, manage customer billings, and track incoming and outgoing payments.
Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements like profit-and-loss sheets.
Compliance & Audits: Support internal and external audits and ensure adherence to local tax and financial regulations.
Key Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Experience: 1 to 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (such as Busy, Microsoft Excel.
Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and good communication.
