Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our team at RS Caterers in Chennai at Avadi, Kamaraj Nagar. The role involves managing financial transactions, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The position offers ₹25,000 in-hand salary and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including P&L and balance sheets.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable.

• Reconcile bank statements and cash accounts regularly.

• Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

• Assist with budgeting, inventory costing, and vendor payment tracking.

• Maintain payroll records and support internal audits.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and basic accounting software.

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and local taxation laws.

• Good understanding of inventory and cost management, especially in the catering or food industry.

• Accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
