Job Title:Team Leader – Accounts (US Accounting)
Location: Sindhubhavan Road, Ahmedabad (Onsite)
Shift Timing: 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM IST
Compensation: ₹40,000 – ₹65,000 per month + Performance Bonus (% of client revenue)
Employment Type: Full-Time – Night Shift
Experience Required: Minimum 4 years in US Accounting

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Accounts Team Leader to lead our US accounting team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in bookkeeping, tax, and compliance for US-based clients, with proven leadership ability to supervise a team and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Supervision: Lead, mentor, and review the work of junior accountants and executives.

• Finalization of Books: Oversee and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients; resolve escalations, ensure timely communication and deliverables.

• Workflow & Deadline Management: Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met.

• Quality Control: Conduct internal reviews and ensure accuracy and compliance in all bookkeeping and reporting.

• Training & Development: Support ongoing training for junior staff and ensure knowledge of updated US accounting standards.

• Compliance: Ensure proper tax filings, payroll processing, and sales tax compliance with the help of internal and external teams.

• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current processes and suggest automation or best practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on knowledge of QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Xero, and related accounting tools.

• Expertise in US GAAP, payroll processing, sales tax, and 1099/1040/1120 filings.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Strong understanding of client confidentiality and data protection.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting or Finance

• Certification in US Taxation or QuickBooks (preferred)

• Prior experience working with CPA firms or offshore KPOs

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 4 - 6+ years Experience.
