Job Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions of the institute.

• Maintain accurate records of student fee collections, refunds, and outstanding payments.

• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

• Prepare and maintain cash books, ledgers, vouchers, and bank reconciliation statements.

• Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.

• Assist in the preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR).

• Prepare and review GST returns, TDS returns, and related tax documentation.

• Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, auditors, banks, and government departments.

• Process vendor payments and maintain expense records.

• Prepare monthly financial reports, MIS reports, and management reports.

• Maintain proper documentation of financial records and institute expenses.

• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning activities.

• Support management in financial analysis, cost control, and decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in accounting.

• Prior experience working with a CA Firm will be preferred.

• Knowledge of Income Tax Return (ITR) preparation and filing.

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and taxation.

• Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Education, Coaching, or EdTech industry.

• Knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.

• Familiarity with fee management and student billing systems.
