We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the daily accounting and financial operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of hospitality accounting practices, statutory compliance, and internal financial controls, ensuring the hotel’s fiscal health and transparency.
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, and payments).
Prepare daily revenue reports, reconcile cash/credit transactions, and verify guest folios.
Manage accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely collections and payments to vendors.
Post and reconcile entries in Tally ERP / accounting software.
Prepare monthly financial statements including Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
Perform bank reconciliations and track vendor and client ledgers.
Process payroll, reimbursements, and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS).
Ensure GST, TDS, and other statutory returns are filed on time, coordinating with auditors as needed.
Conduct periodic stock audits and coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate inventory accounting.
Support budget preparation, cost analysis, and variance reporting.
Assist in internal and statutory audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and hotel finance policies.
Liaise with banks, suppliers, and external stakeholders for finance-related matters.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
Working knowledge of hotel accounting systems, property management systems (PMS), and Tally ERP / SAP / similar tools.
Excellent Excel and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Good exposure to internal control systems and cost management.
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent).
Professional certification (CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance) preferred.
Minimum 3–6 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the hospitality industry.
Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
