Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements:

  This includes balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. 

• Conduct reconciliations:

  Reconciling accounts such as bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. 

• Analyze financial data:

  Identifying trends, potential risks, and areas for improvement in the company's financial performance. 

• Manage accounting operations:

  Overseeing the daily accounting processes, including invoice processing, expense reimbursements, and bank transactions. 

• Support budgeting and forecasting:

  Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts based on financial data analysis. 

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards:

  Adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulations. 

• Oversee audits:

  Assisting with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy. 

• Lead and mentor junior accountants:

  Providing guidance and training to junior members of the accounting team. 

Skills and qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: The ability to analyze complex financial data and identify solutions. 

• Proficiency in accounting software: Experience with various accounting software packages like QuickBooks.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders. 

• Extensive experience in accounting: Typically requiring several years of experience in accounting
