Job Description: Accountant

Required Experience: 6 months to 4 / 5 years

Female Candidates are preferred

Role Description :

This is a full-time role located based at Chennai. The person shall be responsible for

managing accounts, controlling credits, handling petty cash and performing various

finance-related tasks. The role involves daily accounting responsibilities to ensure

smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping: Manage GL entries, AP/AR, bank reconciliations,

and journal entries in Tally erp prime

2. GST & Tax Compliance: File GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, TDS returns. Handle GST

reconciliations, e-invoicing, e-way bills

3. Month/Year End Closure: Lead month-end close, accruals, provisions, and

variance analysis

4. Audit Support: Coordinate with internal/external auditors. Maintain supporting

docs + schedules

5. MIS & Reporting: Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow, and management

reports for leadership

6. Team Support: Mentor junior accountants + improve process efficiency

Qualifications

 Skills in Credit Control and Petty Cash management  Finance and Accounting proficiency

 Experience in event management or a related field is a plus

 Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field

 GST and TDS prompt in knowledge
