Job Description :-
· Voucher Management: Verify, process, and post daily journal entries, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), cash, bank, and expense vouchers.
· Vendor & Customer Management: Perform regular reconciliation of vendor bills, customer ledgers, and plant-level material inventories.
· Banking Operations: Prepare bank reconciliation statements (BRS) and manage local cash/petty cash payments.
· GST Compliance: Prepare data for monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile GSTR-2B data with books for accurate Input Tax Credit (ITC) claiming.
· TDS/TCS: Compute, deduct, and deposit TDS/TCS under appropriate sections, and compile data for quarterly TDS returns.
· Audit Support: Assist seniors during statutory, internal, and tax audits by providing necessary transaction vouchers, ledgers, and asset registers
· Stock Audits: Collaborate with the manufacturing/warehouse team to perform physical verification of raw materials (aluminum foil, plastic substrates) and finished products.
· Discrepancy Reporting: Highlight stock variances between physical counts and system balances to management
· MIS Reporting: Prepare routine Management Information System (MIS) reports, cash flow trackers, and aging schedules for debtors and creditors.
· HQ Alignment: Keep daily syncs with the senior finance management and the core Jupiter Group Headquarters team
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Education: B.Com, M.Com, or an MBA in Finance.
· Experience: 2+ years of core accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing, FMCG, or packaging industry plant setup.
· Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with ERP software (like Tally Prime, SAP, or industry-standard inventory modules) and advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
· Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST structures, TDS clauses, and plant logistics accounting.
