Accounts & Billing Staff

We are looking for a responsible and experienced person for Accounts, Billing and General Office Work at our wholesale trading shop in Pune Market Yard.

The candidate should have practical accounting knowledge and should be comfortable working with both the traditional Market Yard style of accounting as well as modern accounting software and GST-based systems.

Preferred Skills & Experience

- Experience working with Accurate Billing Software, especially in Pune Market Yard, will be highly preferred.

- Knowledge of Tally is preferred.

- Ability to understand and handle Accurate-to-Tally data transfer/reconciliation.

- Proper knowledge of Khatavahi / Party Ledger / Udhar-Jama accounts.

- Understanding of both traditional manual accounting and computerized accounting.

- Purchase and sales bill entries.

- Cash and credit sales accounting.

- Cash collection and payment entries.

- Party ledger checking and reconciliation.

- Outstanding receivables and payable tracking.

- Bank entries and bank reconciliation.

- Knowledge of GST, including GST purchase/sales entries and basic GST reconciliation.

- Understanding of TDS, deductions and related accounting entries.

- Knowledge of interest calculations on outstanding payments/accounts.

- Debit Note / Credit Note entries.

- Purchase returns and sales returns.

- Basic understanding of E-Way Bill and E-Invoice, wherever applicable.

- Ability to check bills, rates, quantities, deductions and account balances carefully.

- Maintaining daily cash/account records.

- Experience in preparing or assisting with reports required by the owner, accountant or CA.

- Basic knowledge of Excel will be an advantage.

Candidate We Are Looking For

The person should be accurate, responsible and trustworthy, because the work involves accounts, payments, party balances and important business records.

We prefer someone who understands how business is practically conducted in Market Yard / wholesale trading, rather than someone having only theoretical accounting knowledge.

Previous experience with a trader, wholesaler, commission agent, distributor or Market Yard business will be strongly preferred.

The candidate should be able to independently understand daily transactions, maintain proper records and coordinate with the owner and CA whenever required.

Qualification: Relevant accounting knowledge/experience is more important than only educational qualification.

Experience: Experienced candidates preferred.

Work Location: Pune Market Yard, Gultekadi, Pune.
