Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong focus on balance sheet preparation, reconciliation, and analysis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the company’s financial position through a comprehensive understanding and management of balance sheet accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheets.

• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, prepaid expenses, accruals, fixed assets, and intercompany balances.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or variances in balance sheet accounts.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring balance sheet completeness and accuracy.

• Work closely with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Maintain and monitor internal controls related to balance sheet processes.

• Collaborate with other finance team members to support forecasting and budgeting related to balance sheet items.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP/IFRS) and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on balance sheet management.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
