Accountant

• Financial Recordkeeping:

  • Maintain and update financial records using accounting software and systems.

  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries.

• Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Ensure that reports are completed accurately and in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

• Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Monitor expenditures and compare actual results with forecasts to identify variances.

• Tax Compliance:

  • Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.

  • Advise management on tax planning and strategies to optimize liabilities.

• Audit and Internal Controls:

  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.

  • Develop and implement internal financial controls to protect company assets.

• Payroll and Benefits Accounting:

  • Oversee payroll processes and ensure accuracy in salary, deductions, and benefits management.

  • Coordinate with HR and finance teams to maintain payroll compliance.

• Financial Analysis:

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
