Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant / Accountant (Experienced)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with minimum 1–2 years of core accounting experience. The candidate must have hands-on exposure in Tally, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Finalization of Accounts. Candidates with only data entry or basic accounting knowledge will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities (STRICT)

Maintain complete books of accounts independently in Tally ERP

Handle GST compliance:

GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation

Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation

TDS calculation, deduction & filing (24Q, 26Q)

Income Tax workings & coordination for returns and assessments

Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) on a monthly basis

Prepare Balance Sheet, P&L, Trial Balance

Vendor & customer ledger scrutiny and reconciliation

Maintain statutory compliance records

Assist in audit preparation and coordination with CA

Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting

Mandatory Skills (Non-Negotiable)

✔ Strong knowledge of Tally ERP

✔ GST, TDS & Income Tax practical experience

✔ Balance Sheet Finalization

✔ Bank Reconciliation

✔ Knowledge of Accounting Standards & Compliance

✔ Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, basic formulas)

Qualification (STRICT)

B.Com / M.Com mandatory

CA Inter / Semi-Qualified CA – Preferred

MBA Finance – Acceptable only with strong accounting exposure

Experience Requirement

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience

Experience in CA firm / corporate accounts / compliance role preferred

Freshers & data-entry profiles will NOT be considered
