We are hiring an Accountant for our restaurant to manage daily accounting operations, financial records, vendor payments, inventory-related accounting, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have experience in restaurant, hospitality, retail, or food & beverage accounting and be proficient in Tally and MS Excel.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounts, bookkeeping, and financial records.
Record sales, expenses, purchases, and cash transactions accurately.
Handle vendor invoices, payments, and account reconciliations.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Verify restaurant sales reports, POS transactions, and cash collections.
Track food costs, inventory expenses, and operational expenditures.
Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and management for financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Accounting/Finance.
2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in restaurants, hotels, cafés, or retail businesses.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and taxation.
Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
Experience handling POS sales reconciliation and inventory accounting.
Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
