Key Responsibilities
• Maintain day-to-day accounting records including receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Manage student fee collection and maintain accurate fee records.
• Track pending student fees and prepare reports for management.
• Handle staff payroll preparation and salary records.
• Maintain cash book, ledger, and bank book.
• Perform bank reconciliation statements regularly.
• Maintain expense records and monitor departmental spending.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain financial files and documentation properly.
• Assist during internal and external financial audits.
• Ensure compliance with financial and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with administration and management regarding financial matters.
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management
• Hands-on experience in TallyPrime Accounting Software
• Experience in Gold ERP – Education Management System
• Basic knowledge of CRM systems for student fee tracking and records
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and computer applications
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and financial accuracy
Preferred Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Master’s Degree (M.Com)
• Minimum 2 – 5 years accounting experience
• Experience working in educational institutions or colleges will be an advantage
