Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with 1 to 3 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with accounting software, possess strong analytical skills, and be proficient in Advanced Excel functions like Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily accounting records, including journal entries, receipts, payments, and ledgers

• Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims

• Perform bank reconciliations and vendor reconciliations

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities

• Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory returns

• Support internal and external audits

• Work with the senior accountant/finance manager for budgeting and forecasting

• Use Excel tools (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, IF statements) for data analysis and reporting

• Generate financial reports and assist with MIS reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com)

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance

• Proficiency in MS Excel – especially Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and data handling

• Knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance (GST, TDS)

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Knowledge of Tally ERP or any ERP software

• Basic understanding of financial statements

• Experience in handling petty cash, payroll, or billing
