Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the organization's accounting operations, statutory compliance, taxation, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, payroll accounting, and statutory regulations, preferably with experience in the staffing or service industry.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliation, and account finalization.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Handle GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliations, and input tax credit management.
Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, return filing, and issuance of TDS certificates.
Ensure timely payment and compliance with statutory taxes and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Process payroll accounting entries and coordinate with the payroll team for statutory compliance.
Perform vendor and customer account reconciliations.
Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial analysis for management.
Support internal and statutory audits by providing required documentation and reconciliations.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities.
Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial controls to ensure compliance with company policies.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable laws.
Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
Experience in accounting for service or staffing organizations.
Knowledge of payroll accounting and employee reimbursement processes.
Expertise in bank reconciliation and account finalization.
Strong understanding of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
Experience in preparing financial statements and MIS reports.
Familiarity with statutory audits and tax audits.
Good understanding of cash flow management and budgeting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial reports).
Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally Prime, Zoho Books, Busy, SAP Business One, or ERP systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com).
M.Com, CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience in the staffing, recruitment, consulting, or service industry is preferred.

5–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
Experience handling end-to-end accounting independently.
Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
