Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and using ERP systems. A strong understanding of accounting principles, coupled with proficiency in Zoho ERP or similar systems, will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting activities including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliation.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

• Process and reconcile payroll entries, tax filings, and statutory returns.

• Assist in the preparation of working capital forecasts.

• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other compliance-related documentation.

• Support in month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Collaborate with the team to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or equivalent.

• 2-3 years of professional experience in accounting and bookkeeping.

• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (Zoho experience is preferred).

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Experience with bank reconciliation and general ledger management.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Indian tax regulations and statutory compliance.

• Professional certification (CA, CMA, or equivalent) is a plus but not mandatory.

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
