Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Executive to manage our day-to-day accounting tasks with a strong focus on GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maintaining accurate financial records, filing returns, and ensuring full compliance with taxation laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).

• Handle TDS deductions, payments, and quarterly returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.).

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of income tax, professional tax, and other applicable statutory returns.

• Coordinate with auditors during audits and support internal and external audit processes.

• Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and tax records monthly.

• Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, P&L accounts, and financial reports.

• Keep updated with changes in tax laws and compliance requirements.

• Liaise with tax consultants, CA, and government departments as required.

• Manage vendor and client account reconciliations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (M.Com or CA Inter is a plus).

• 2-5 years of accounting experience, with a strong grasp of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

• Proficient in accounting software like Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar.

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 6 months - 3 years of experience.
