Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, integrity, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports

• Manage accounts payable and receivable

• Reconcile bank statements and ledgers

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting

• Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns

• Coordinate with external auditors during audits

• Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes

• Support financial decision-making through data analysis and reporting

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, Xero)

• Excellent Excel and spreadsheet skills

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Time management and organizational skills

• Communication skills for reporting and collaboration

• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
