Accountant Job Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals.
Prepare and analyze balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and other financial statements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliation of bank statements.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor company expenses and suggest cost-effective measures.
Assist in internal and external audits.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions.
Support management with financial analysis and decision-making.
