we are is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. This position is ideal for candidates with a solid understanding of accounting processes, particularly in the logistics and freight forwarding sectors. We highly prefer candidates residing near our Okhla office.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations

• Prepare and file accurate GST returns, and reconcile GST input/output.

• Handle TDS calculation, deduction, deposit, and return filing.

• Perform timely and precise bank reconciliations.

• Assist in journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.

• Support accounts payable/receivable, including invoice handling and payment follow-ups.

Industry-Specific Knowledge

• Apply accounting standards specific to logistics, freight forwarding, and customs clearance.

• Manage financial entries related to transportation, shipping, and customs duties.

Documentation & Communication

• Maintain organized financial records and documentation.

• Draft clear, professional emails and reports in English for internal and external communication.

General Support

• Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar accounting role.

• Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or customs clearance is highly preferred.

Accounting Expertise

• Strong working knowledge of GST and TDS regulations.

• Proven experience in bank reconciliation and general accounting tasks.

Language & Software

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

• Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books (specify if applicable).

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.

Personal Attributes

• High accuracy and attention to detail.

• Self-driven and able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong time management and organizational abilities.

Preferred Profile

• Female, married candidates residing near Okhla are preferred, though male candidates are welcome to apply.

• Hybrid model: Combination of in-office and work-from-home days.
