Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations, billing, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with computerized accounting systems and a strong understanding of Indian taxation and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoicing & Billing: Generate accurate sales invoices, purchase entries, and manage day-to-day accounts receivable and payable.
Tally Operations: Maintain books of accounts, ledger scrutinies, and inventory records using TallyPrime / Tally ERP.
GST Compliance: Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile input tax credit (ITC) regularly.
General Accounting: Apply core accounting principles to handle journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial documentation.
Reporting: Assist management with routine financial reports, expense tracking, and audit preparations.
Requirements & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or relevant accounting qualification.
Experience: Minimum [Insert Number, e.g., 1–3] years of experience in accounting and taxation.
Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience in TallyPrime / Tally ERP, Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, basic formulas), and ERP systems.
Knowledge Base: Sound understanding of core accounting rules (Golden Rules of Accounting), GST filing processes, and e-invoicing regulations.
