Job Title: AccountantLocation: [gurugram sector 42]Department: Finance & AccountsReports To: Finance Manager / Head of AccountsJob Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions, prepare accurate reports, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the organization in making sound financial decisions.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounts.Handle accounts payable and receivable.Prepare and verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and bank reconciliations.Manage payroll processing and statutory compliances (TDS, GST, PF, ESI, etc.).Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.Provide financial insights and support management in decision-making.Maintain confidentiality of financial information.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree/CA/ICWA preferred).Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliances.Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Key Skills:Accounting & Financial ReportingTaxation & ComplianceBudgeting & ForecastingMS Excel & Accounting SoftwareTime ManagementAnalytical Thinking
