Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance for multiple event-based projects.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance
·        Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, cash book, and bank book
·        Track event-wise and project-wise expenses and revenues
·        Handle accounts payable and receivable
·        Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
·        Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow

Event & Vendor Accounting
·        Process vendor bills, advances, settlements, and reimbursements
·        Track event budgets versus actual expenses
·        Coordinate with operations team for approvals and closures
·        Maintain vendor accounts and payment schedules

Taxation & Compliance
·        Handle GST compliance including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B
·        Manage TDS deductions, filings, and returns
·        Assist in income tax computations and filings
·        Ensure compliance with LLP statutory requirements

Invoicing & Client Coordination
·        Raise client invoices as per contracts and milestones
·        Follow up on outstanding payments
·        Maintain documentation for audits and reconciliations

Audit & Reporting
·        Assist in statutory and internal audits
·        Prepare MIS reports for management
·        Support budgeting and financial planning

Required Qualifications
·        Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
·        CA (Inter) / CMA (Inter) preferred
·        2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (event/media industry preferred)

Skills & Competencies
·        Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards
·        Proficiency in Tally / Zoho Books / Excel
·        Strong attention to detail and time management
·        Good communication and coordination skills
