Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensure compliance with GST and TDS regulations, and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in ERP/Tally.
Prepare and maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and reconciliations.
Prepare and file GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, etc.).
Reconcile GST input tax credit (ITC) with GSTR-2B.
Ensure timely payment and compliance of GST liabilities.
Deduct, deposit, and file TDS Returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.).
Reconcile TDS with Form 26AS/TRACES.
Prepare vendor and customer account reconciliations.
Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
Support statutory, internal, and tax audits.
Maintain compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other statutory requirements.
Prepare MIS reports and financial statements for management.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities when required.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of GST and TDS compliance.
Hands-on experience with Tally Prime, Busy, or ERP software.
Good understanding of accounting standards and taxation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
Good communication and organizational abilities.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
M.Com, MBA (Finance), or CA Inter (preferred).
2–5 years of experience in accounting, GST, and TDS compliance.
Preferred Experience
Experience in GST return filing and reconciliations.
Experience in TDS deduction, payment, and return filing.
Exposure to statutory audits and financial reporting.
Knowledge of payroll accounting is an added advantage.
