Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing general accounting operations, ensuring the integrity of accounting information, and preparing accurate financial statements in compliance with applicable regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:

  • General ledger

  • Accounts payable/receivable

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Fixed asset activity

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports

• Perform variance analysis and financial forecasting

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

• Assist with internal and external audits

• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure effective internal controls

• Support system implementations and process improvements

• Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed
