Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesGST Return Filing: Preparing and accurately filing various GST returns, such as GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B. Record Keeping: Maintaining organized and accurate records of all GST-related documents, including invoices and input tax credit (ITC) records. Compliance Management: Ensuring the organization adheres to all GST rules and regulations and promptly addressing any compliance issues. Tax Audits: Assisting in internal and external GST audits by providing necessary documentation and support. Liaison with Authorities: Coordinating with GST authorities, responding to notices, and facilitating any required inspections. Internal Coordination: Acting as a point of contact to answer GST-related questions from various departments within the organization. Research and Updates: Staying informed about changes in GST laws and regulations and conducting research on indirect tax matters. Required Skills and QualificationsEducation: A bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience in handling GST compliance and tax filings. GST Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of GST laws, rules, and regulations. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively solve GST-related problems. Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders effectively. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain organized records, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
