Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced Accountant to manage and maintain our financial records, prepare reports, and ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing accounting tasks, analyzing financial data, and supporting budgeting and auditing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports

• Manage general ledger and reconcile accounts

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Assist with budget preparation and financial planning

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations (GAAP, IFRS, etc.)

• Process month-end and year-end closings

• Prepare tax returns and assist with audits

• Monitor and report on financial performance

• Maintain accurate financial documentation

• Provide financial insights and support decision-making processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

• Proven experience (2–5 years) as an accountant or similar role

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero)

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance

• Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting

• Familiarity with ERP systems
