Job Title: Senior Accountant

Company: Sanico Group

Salary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month

Location: 113F, Matheswartolla Road, Topsia, Kolkata – 700046

Job Summary:

Sanico Group is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong knowledge of GST and taxation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting records, statutory compliance, tax filings, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day accounting activities and maintain books of accounts

Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)

Reconciliation of GST returns with books and GST portal data

TDS calculation, return filing, and statutory compliance

Income Tax compliance and coordination with CA

Bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny

Preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly closing

Managing accounts payable and receivable

Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and company policies

Assisting in audits and providing necessary documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) / M.Com preferred

3–5 years of experience in accounting and taxation

Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax

Proficiency in Tally / ERP software and MS Excel

Good analytical and problem-solving skills
