Job Description – Accountant (Shop Work)

Job Location: Royapuram, Chennai
Preferred Candidates: Female (any educational background)

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily cash transactions and maintain accurate records.

• Prepare and update sales, purchase, and expense entries.

• Maintain petty cash book and reconcile balances.

• Assist in billing, invoicing, and payment collections.

• Keep track of stock entries and update registers as required.

• Support management with basic financial reports.

• Ensure proper filing and documentation of receipts, bills, and vouchers.

Requirements:

• Female candidates preferred.

• Any educational background (basic knowledge of accounts/cash handling will be an advantage).

• Good numerical and record-keeping skills.

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel/Word) preferred.

• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
