Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in accounting software, tax compliance, and time management. This role involves preparing cheques, managing petty cash, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accounting Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software such as Tally Prime, Saral TDS, and Clear Tax for financial management and reporting.
• Cheque Preparation: Accurately prepare and issue cheques for payments.
• GST and TDS Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) regulations. Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and timely filing of returns.
• Petty Cash Management: Oversee and manage petty cash transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reconciliation.
• MS Excel Expertise: Use MS Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
• Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders. Provide clear and concise financial information and advice.
• Time Management: Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and achieve financial goals.
