Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory & Stock Management
Maintain complete and accurate records of all furniture and other stock.
Monitor daily stock levels and maintain proper inventory records.
Record and verify all Goods Inward (GRN) received at the showroom/warehouse.
Record all Goods Outward and dispatches to customers, project sites, warehouses, or other locations.
Maintain records of stock transfers between showroom, warehouse, and project sites.
Regularly conduct physical stock verification and reconcile it with system records.
Identify shortages, excess stock, damaged goods, and discrepancies and report them immediately.
Maintain proper records of returned goods, replacement items, and damaged/defective products.
Ensure every movement of goods is properly documented.
2. Accounts & Billing
Maintain day-to-day accounts and financial records.
Prepare and maintain sales invoices, purchase invoices, delivery challans, credit notes, and debit notes.
Record purchase and sales transactions accurately.
Maintain customer and supplier ledgers.
Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain payment records.
Coordinate with the CA/accountant for GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Assist in bank reconciliation and other routine accounting activities.
3. Documentation & Coordination
Maintain proper filing of all invoices, purchase orders, delivery challans, stock records, and other documents.
Coordinate with showroom staff, sales team, warehouse staff, suppliers, transporters, and customers.
Verify goods received against purchase orders and invoices.
Verify goods dispatched against sales orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
Prepare regular stock and accounts reports for management.
Ensure all records are updated on a daily basis.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate in Commerce (B.Com preferred).
Previous experience in accounts and inventory management is preferred.
Good knowledge of Tally / accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong understanding of stock inward and outward processes.
Good knowledge of invoices, purchase and sales entries, and basic GST documentation.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to independently manage accounts and inventory records.
Experience in a furniture, interior, construction, hardware, or trading business will be an advantage.
Key Requirement
The candidate should be capable of handling complete day-to-day accounts and inventory operations, including all stock records, goods inward, goods outward, stock transfers, purchases, sales, billing, documentation, and reconciliation, ensuring that every movement of goods and every financial transaction is properly recorded.
