Job Description

Position: Accounts Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to manage accounting operations for our Freight Forwarding business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for customer billing, vendor payments, receivable collections, statutory compliance, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely closure of financial transactions.

Eligibility: B.com holder with 3-5 years of work experience in a freight forwarding company/CHA firm is must.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Accounts Receivable (AR).
Prepare shipment-wise customer invoices and verify freight-related costs.
Maintain General Ledger (GL) and pass Journal Entries.
Candidate should have knowledge of GST & compliances.
Monitor customer collections, ageing reports, and outstanding receivables.
Implement effective Credit Control and coordinate with Sales & Operations for payment follow-ups.
Reconcile customer, vendors, bank, and ledger accounts.
Assist in month-end closing, audits, and MIS reporting.

Qualifications

B.Com is must M.Com will be an added advantage.
3–5 years of experience in Accounts within the Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Supply Chain industry. Preference will be given to candidates from freight forwarding background.

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of AP, AR, GL, Journal Entries, GST, TDS/TCS, Customer Billing, Collection Management, and Credit Control.
Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and MS Excel.
Good analytical, reconciliation, and communication skills.
