Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive Collections Executive Lead to handle student fee collections and manage a small collections team. The role includes direct follow-ups, coordinating with payment partners, and ensuring recovery targets are achieved. Candidates with EdTech or e-commerce collections experience are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the collections team for timely student fee recovery.

• Set and monitor daily/weekly collection targets.

• Conduct team reviews, coach members, and build a high-performance culture.

• Personally handle escalated or difficult payment cases.

• Coordinate with payment partners like Razorpay, PayU, Instamojo, Jodo etc.

• Manage EMI-based collection schedules and follow-ups.

• Maintain accurate payment history, communication logs, and recovery actions.

• Generate reports on collections, team performance, and outstanding dues.

• Collaborate with sales, support, and finance teams for issue resolution.

• Recommend process improvements for better efficiency and compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in collections, with 1–2 years in a team lead role.

• EdTech collections preferred; e-commerce collections acceptable.

• Strong people management and team motivation skills.

• Hands-on experience with payment tracking tools, reconciliation, and Excel.

• Familiarity with EMI collections (e.g., through Jodo).

• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with collection KPI dashboards.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of CRM/ERP tools in finance or education sector.
