The Accountant and Purchase Executive is responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate financial records, and overseeing the purchasing process. This role includes tasks such as maintaining general ledger accounts, handling vendor relationships, processing invoices, and managing the procurement of goods and services. The candidate will ensure compliance with financial policies and contribute to the smooth functioning of the organization’s financial and purchasing operations.

 
1. Financial Management & Accounting:

• Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records.
  
  

• Record and monitor all day-to-day financial transactions.
  
  

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  
  

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
  
  

• Reconcile bank statements and maintain petty cash records.
  
  

• Assist with filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  
  

• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
  
  

2. Procurement & Purchase Management:

• Handle end-to-end procurement of goods and services including cleaning materials, uniforms, tools, office supplies, etc.
  
  

• Source and negotiate with vendors for best pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
  
  

• Maintain vendor relationships and update vendor database.
  
  

• Raise and process purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage procurement documentation.
  
  

• Monitor inventory levels in coordination with operations to avoid overstocking or shortages.
  
  

• Ensure all purchases stay within allocated budgets and follow internal approval procedures.
  
  

3. Coordination & Reporting:

• Coordinate with the operations team to understand site requirements and forecast purchases.
  
  

• Share regular reports with management on cash flow, expenditures, and purchase activities.
  
  

• Assist in budget planning based on purchase trends and financial insights.
  
  

• Act as a bridge between vendors, operations, and finance to ensure smooth workflow.

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 1 - 4 years of experience.
