Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Female Accountant to join our team in Malakpet, Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Tally software, Goods and Services Tax (GST), and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) regulations. This role is crucial for managing our daily financial transactions and ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tally Operations:

  • Maintaining accurate books of accounts in Tally ERP/Prime, including data entry of all financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries).

  • Reconciliation of bank statements, supplier ledgers, and customer ledgers.

  • Generating various financial reports like Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, Trial Balances, etc.

• GST Compliance:

  • Preparation and filing of monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).

  • Ensuring accurate calculation and payment of GST liabilities.

  • Reconciliation of GSTR-2A/2B with purchase data.

  • Keeping updated with the latest GST regulations and amendments.

• TDS Compliance:

  • Calculating and deducting TDS as per applicable sections of the Income Tax Act.

  • Preparation and filing of quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q, etc.).

  • Issuing TDS certificates (Form 16A, Form 16).

  • Ensuring timely deposit of TDS.

• Financial Record Keeping:

  • Organizing and maintaining all financial records, invoices, and documents meticulously.

  • Assisting with internal and external audits.

• Other Accounting Tasks:

  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

  • Petty cash management and reconciliation.

  • Assisting in budget preparation and financial forecasting (as needed).

  • Performing other accounting-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Any Graduate degree from a recognized institution.

• 1 to 2 years of proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.

• Mandatory hands-on experience with Tally ERP/Prime.

• Strong understanding and practical experience with GST regulations and filing procedures.

• Proficient in TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing.

• Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
