Job Description – Accountant

Location: Gota, Ahmedabad
Employment Type: Full-time Experience Required: 3+ Years
Salary: As per company standards and candidate experience
Working Days: Monday to Friday and Alternate Saturdays
Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial record-keeping. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GST and TDS filings, strong accounting knowledge, and proficiency in Tally Prime.

Key Responsibilities
•Prepare, review, and file TDS returns accurately within statutory deadlines.
•Manage GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliations, and maintenance of related records.
•Handle day-to-day accounting activities using Tally Prime.
•Generate customer invoices, process billing transactions, and maintain accurate billing records.
•Monitor and maintain petty cash transactions with proper documentation and controls.
•Perform account reconciliations and assist in monthly financial reporting.
•Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements.
•Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and internal stakeholders as required.
•Support financial analysis and reporting activities to assist management decision-making.

Required Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
•Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting operations, GST filing, and TDS compliance.
•Proficiency in Tally Prime is mandatory.
•Strong understanding of invoicing processes and petty cash management.
•Sound knowledge of accounting principles, taxation regulations, and statutory compliance.
•Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

Preferred Qualifications
•Prior experience in the IT industry will be an added advantage.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
