Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Prepare bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny.

Handle monthly closing activities and support financial statement preparation.

GST Compliance

Perform GST reconciliation (GSTR-2A/2B with books).

Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).

Coordinate with vendors for input tax discrepancies.

Maintain accurate GST records and documentation.

TDS & Other Statutory Filings

Handle TDS computation, deduction, deposit, and filing of returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.).

Generate and upload TDS challans; issue Form 16/16A.

Manage Professional Tax (PT) calculations and monthly/annual filings.

Financial Support & Reporting

Assist in preparation of MIS reports and data required for audits.

Support internal and external audits with proper documentation.

Monitor compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.

3+ years of hands-on accounting experience.

Strong proficiency in Tally ERP.

Practical knowledge of GST reconciliation, TDS filings, and Professional Tax compliance.

Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory regulations.

Proficiency in MS Excel

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
