Key Responsibilities
1. Driver & Trip Management:
· Prepare, manage, and verify daily Trip Sheets for all drivers.
· Accurately calculate and process driver trip expenses and allowances.
· Handle arrangements and accounts for driver fooding (mess or allowance management).
2. Payroll & Financial Administration:
· Manage the end-to-end process of driver salary disbursement accurately and on time.
· Maintain meticulous records of all financial transactions related to drivers and trips.
3. Vehicle & Documentation Management:
· Perform regular data updation of all vehicles in the company fleet (e.g., mileage, maintenance, repairs).
· Proactively track and manage the renewal of all vehicle documents (Insurance, Fitness Certificate, Permit, PUC, etc.) well before their expiry dates.
· Maintain an organized system for all physical and digital vehicle documents.
4. Accounting & Compliance:
· Enter all financial data (expenses, salaries, invoices) into Tally accounting software daily.
· Apply basic knowledge of GST for preparing invoices, filing returns, and reconciling data.
· Assist with TDS calculations and deductions as applicable.
· Ensure adherence to other statutory compliances related to transport and labour laws.
