Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team at at Assort Machine Tools Company. The position offers ₹15000 - ₹22000 and opportunities for professional growth.

ROLE:

1. Basic Accounting

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR1, GST 2A/2B, 3B) and TDS filings in compliance with regulatory requirements. GSTR-1 adjustment entries in Tally.

• Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts, ensuring proper documentation.

• Record daily transactions and journal entries regularly (alternative days or weekly).

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of payments and collections.

• Manage payroll processing, including statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS), ensuring compliance with labor laws.

• Administer employee tax compliance, including the issuance of Form 16.

2. Compliance & Taxation

• Monitor and track IGST refund claims and e-BRCs status from DGFT.

• Manage export-related benefits, such as duty drawbacks and incentives.

• Verify and maintain export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, and Bills of Lading.

• Ensure timely regularization of shipping bills, inward remittances, and import documentation on the EDPMS portal to prevent discrepancies.

• Provide country-specific tax data to filing agencies for compliance with international tax regulations.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations in countries such as the UK, Germany, and other business jurisdictions.

3. Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cash flow and profit & loss (P&L) statements.

• Reconcile financial records, including balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.

• Generate Management Information System reports (MIS reports) covering sales, profit margins, and expenses for management review.

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 1 - 6+ years Experience.
