Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal accounting policies
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
Review work performed by junior accounting staff and provide guidance and mentoring
Maintain and improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
Partner with finance, tax, payroll, and operations teams to ensure accurate reporting
