We are seeking a diligent and tech-savvy Accountant to join the Apogee Connect team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting the overall financial health of the company. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on precision and has a solid grasp of Indian taxation and accounting standards.
GST Compliance: Managing end-to-end filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and ensuring timely payment of liabilities.
Banking & Reconciliation: Performing regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately captured and categorized.
Bookkeeping: Maintaining day-to-day accounts, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of monthly balance sheets and P&L statements.
Documentation: Maintaining organized digital and physical records for audit readiness.
Software Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP 9 and Microsoft Office (specifically advanced Excel functions like VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
Statutory Knowledge: Strong understanding of GST laws and TDS provisions.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in core accounting.
The "Plus" Factor: Previous experience working under a Chartered Accountant (CA) or in a CA firm is highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
Ability to meet tight deadlines, especially during month-end closing and tax seasons.
