Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, ensuring statutory compliance, and assisting in day-to-day accounting operations. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and maintain accounting records and financial reports. • Record financial transactions and ensure proper documentation. • Compile and analyze financial information for asset, liability, and capital account entries. • Prepare Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and other financial reports. • Reconcile accounts and investigate financial discrepancies. • Verify and audit financial documents and transactions for accuracy. • Process vendor payments and validate supporting documentation. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation regulations, and statutory requirements. • Maintain accounting controls, policies, and procedures. • Prepare periodic and special financial analysis reports as required by management. • Safeguard financial information through proper database backups and data security practices. • Coordinate with internal departments for accounting and financial matters. • Assist senior finance personnel with budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis. • Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and organizational information. Required Skills • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping. • Financial reporting and account reconciliation expertise. • Understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements. • Good analytical and problem-solving skills. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong organizational and time-management abilities. • Effective communication and coordination skills. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Preferred Software Knowledge • MS Excel • Accounting Software / ERP Systems • Financial Reporting Tools Qualification • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com),M.Com , Accounting, Finance, or related field. • 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred. • Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also apply.
