Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

Aimlay Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the company's day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, financial reporting, and compliance. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.

Prepare and manage vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payment entries.

Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.

Prepare GST returns, TDS calculations, and ensure statutory compliance.

Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.

Prepare MIS reports and financial statements for management.

Manage payroll-related accounting entries and salary processing.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Bookkeeping.

Hands-on experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime.

Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.

Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Basic Formulas).

Experience in Bank Reconciliation and Ledger Management.

Knowledge of financial reporting and MIS preparation.

Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

Good communication and organizational abilities.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.

M.Com or professional accounting certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience

2–5 Years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a similar role.

Preferred Candidate

Experience in service-based organizations or the EdTech industry is preferred.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
