Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, prepare reports, reconcile accounts, and ensure legal compliance in all accounting procedures. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, financial reporting, and taxation.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Manage accounts payable and receivable

• Process invoices and payments

• Conduct bank reconciliations

• Monitor budgets and expenditures

• Prepare and file tax returns (GST/VAT/TDS/etc.)

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations

• Assist with audits and internal reviews

• Use accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP)

🎓 Qualifications and Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA, CA Inter, etc.)

• CA, CMA, or CPA preferred (optional but advantageous)

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role

• Experience with [industry-specific knowledge, if needed]

Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Knowledge of applicable tax laws and financial regulations

• Ability to work independently and in a team
