Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining Financial Records:

  Posting journal entries, updating general ledgers, and ensuring accuracy of financial data. 

• Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  Managing invoices, tracking payments, and reconciling accounts. 

• Financial Reporting:

  Assisting in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports. 

• Bank Reconciliations:

  Reconciling company bank accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. 

• Month-End and Year-End Close:

  Assisting with the closing process, including preparing financial statements and reports for the period. 

• Auditing:

  Assisting with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. 

• Payroll:

  May assist with processing payroll, including calculating and paying taxes. 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is typically required. 

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (like QuickBooks or ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite. 

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and solve problems. 

• Attention to Detail: Essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance. 

• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments. 

• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
