Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily accounting operations specific to logistics and transportation expenses.
Record and reconcile freight, shipping, warehousing, and import/export costs.
Verify and process vendor invoices related to logistics and transportation.
Coordinate with logistics and procurement departments to track delivery costs and timelines.
Monitor inventory movements and ensure accurate accounting of stock in transit.
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Perform cost analysis and identify opportunities for savings in logistics operations.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax laws, and company policies.
Support internal and external audits related to logistics and supply chain expenses.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance.
2–4 years of accounting experience (preferably in logistics/transportation industry).
Proficiency in Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate across departments.
