About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Tally ERP and a minimum of two years of accounting experience. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our resort by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Handle all day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining daily accounts and updating records in Tally.

• Manage and process GST, TDS, and payroll.

• Prepare and present monthly financial reports to management.

• Ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements.

• Maintain ledgers, prepare financial statements, and reconcile accounts.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial plans.

Requirements

• Education: A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.

• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in an accounting role. Candidates with experience in the hospitality industry would be preferred.

• Tally Expertise: Proven experience with Tally ERP (Accounts & Inventory). Certifications like "PW TallyPrime Basic and Advance with GST Essentials" can provide a competitive edge.

• Accounting Knowledge: Familiarity with day-to-day accounting, GST, TDS, and payroll.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Excel and Word.

• Communication: Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Selection Process

• Round 1: Shortlisted candidates will have a telephone interview.

• Round 2: A final interview with the client will be conducted. The location for this interview will be at the client's discretion.
